Now you can add subtasks to break down larger tasks into bite-sized, actionable milestones. This makes larger tasks feel less overwhelming as you visually track your progress.

How to add a subtask on Blitzit?

To add a subtask, hover over any of your tasks and click the new subtasks icon. This will expand the subtasks dropdown. Simply type in the title of your subtask in the field and hit ENTER.

Marking subtasks as Done

When you finish a milestone, you can click the checkbox on the related subtask to mark it as done. This will fill up the progress dial by a percentage based on how many subtasks you have included.

Subtasks in Blitz mode time

To view your Subtasks in a Live Task Timer during Blitzit Mode you must first pause the task. You can only view existing subtasks and mark them as Done, but you cannot add new subtasks in this view for now. To add new tasks return to List view.

Managing your subtasks

To reorder your subtasks, click the up or down arrows during hover to move them within your subtasks list. You can delete a subtask by hovering over it and clicking the trash icon.

Note: If you integrate Notion databases with checkbox properties, you can convert these properties into Subtasks in Blitzit with direct sync. Please note that these integrated subtasks cannot be deleted.
